What Is Circadian Sleep?
A central circadian clock located in the brain helps regulate our sleep-wake cycles. We also have peripheral circadian clocks that govern essential biological processes, such as blood pressure and kidney function. But aging and other lifestyle factors can disrupt circadian clocks.
